Join the North New Jersey
Collaborative Law Group

The North New Jersey Collaborative Law Group opens its membership to like-minded lawyers who are interested in providing families with another dispute resolution process on a semi-annual basis, January 1st and July 1st of each calendar year. 

New members agree to meet the following requirements and to complete the initial training requirements within twelve (12) months of joining the Group.

2007 North New Jersey Collaborative Law Group Membership Requirements

1. Payment of Annual Dues & Marketing Assessment;

2. Member in Good Standing of  New Jersey State Bar;

3. Seven years of Matrimonial Experience;

4. Participation in a 2 Day Collaborative Law Training Course;

5. Participation in 40 hours of Mediation Training;

6. Agreement to sign and abide by the North New Jersey Collaborative Law Group Participation Agreement;

7. Attendance at 6 Officially Sanctioned General North Jersey Collaborative Divorce Group Meetings during 12 month membership period;

8. Continuing Training Requirement After First Year of Membership;

9. Maintenance of Malpractice Insurance.

10. Professional Record Of No Serious Disciplinary Sanctions.

Currently, the North New Jersey Collaborative Law Group is developing membership criteria for non-attorney members towards the goal of having an interdisciplinary collaborative law group.

We expect to convene a collaborative divorce training and open up our group membership in early 2008.
